The Baptist Health Foundation supports the health system’s mission through philanthropy and stewardship of gifts. The work of the Foundation and its generous donors allows all six Baptist Health Hospitals to continually serve patients and their families, and other community health needs. Take a look at just a few of the initiatives we are working on.

Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville
Electrophysiology (EP) Area – Heart Hospital, 2nd Floor
The Electrophysiology (EP) area will serve as the Heart Hospital’s Afib Center of Excellence at Baptist Jacksonville. It will house nine patient stations, a family and staff lounge, and conference room meeting space. The floor also features three working lab spaces with state-of-the art technology and equipment. The procedure rooms will include pre and post op rooms for patients. On an annual basis, 3200 patients will be treated per year within this space.
8th Floor Customer Experience Area
The 8th Floor Customer Experience area is the most visited space for Baptist team members, patients, families, and guests visiting the Baptist Jacksonville campus. The renovated space will house three adjoining conference rooms with full A/V capability, including the latest technology for team member meetings. A new high-tech physicians lounge will be housed within this space as well. The cafeteria will be central to this space with a modern marketplace setup for accessibility and flow.
Dragonfly Fund for Young Adults with Mental Illness
The fund will provide a care coordinator position to support college-age students and young adults with mental illness in managing all aspects of their health.
AgeWell Institute
– AgeWell House Calls services provide home-based, primary care by geriatric specialists for frail seniors with complex medical conditions or high-risk for readmission after discharge from the hospital.
– Advanced Care Planning improves patient outcomes and reduces costly end-of-life treatments and hospitalizations
– Medical Legal Partnership provides education, training, and access to help seniors leverage legal services in response to their social needs

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center and First Coast News are raising money for a mobile mammography bus for our community. The Buddy Bus will offer state -of-the-art 3D screening mammography in a convenient and affordable setting. Learn More
